Departmental stores are the stores where different sort of consumer goods are kept for sales. Those consumer goods in the departmental store covers the wide ranges form food & beverages, fashion & clothing, Electronics & kitchen materials and some even have medical products in the store. The sales in the departmental store are made with the Sales Representatives. Sales representatives are the one who represents the product in the market for sales, made by different manufacturer or a company. Many of the sales representatives are employed by the same company, their main job is to represent the product made by the manufacturer or the products that comes into the store for sales. A representative having a medical degree is suitable for selling the medical product similarly for selling other consumer goods like clothing, food & beverages, equipments same sort of educational qualification is required. A representative definitely requires the product knowledge of whatever he or she is selling and is more successful on their sales with the knowledge. There are lots of departmental stores in Kathmandu valley these days among them Bhat Bhateni Super Market & Departmental Store located in Bhat Bhateni Complex Kathmandu has just started the business.
