Lumbini
Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion and non-violence. It is situated in the western Tarai of Nepal. The broken Ashokan Pillar, remanants of an old monastery, Images of Buddha's mother Maya Devi, etc are still preserved here. Extensive excavation work is being carried out with promising results. It is accessible by air from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa, from where one proceeds by car, or use some other mode of transport.
Buddhism & Pray
Buddhism is to follow all the rules and regulations created by lord Buddha. Do good and be good, to serve a man is like serving a god that's what the Buddhism teaches us. In Nepal You will find exquisite Hindu and Buddhist architecture and artistic embellishment of pagodas that enshrine bronze and stone images of great beauty and antiquity.
